Your role
eClear is currently looking for a sophisticated communications professional to serve as a trusted right hand to our leadership team in China. This is a rare role that combines high-stakes business translation, strategic communications, and executive support - requiring someone with exceptional language skills, sharp business acumen, and the professional presence to represent eClear in critical business contexts.
You will accompany our CEO and colleagues on regular trips to China, serving as interpreter in business meetings with partners and stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication in negotiations and strategic discussions. Between trips, you will build and manage eClear's social media presence in China, establishing our brand voice and engaging with the Chinese market digitally.
This is not a traditional executive support role - you are not booking flights or managing calendars. Instead, you are the cultural and communications bridge that enables our China market strategy. You curate executive trip experiences (restaurant reservations, brief cultural activities), facilitate productive business conversations, and shape how eClear shows up on the Chinese market online.
If you are someone who thrives in dynamic, high-level business environments, can seamlessly switch between languages and cultural contexts, and wants to directly influence how our company expands in China - this role offers exceptional visibility and impact.
What you will do
- Serve as executive interpreter for our leadership team during business trips to China - translating in real-time during partner meetings, negotiations, and strategic discussions
- Build eClear's China social media presence from the ground up - develop content strategy, create and manage posts, engage with our audience, and establish our brand voice on the Chinese market
- Curate executive trip experiences - organize restaurant reservations, plan brief cultural activities during downtime
- Facilitate business relationships - use your cultural fluency to navigate Chinese business dynamics, anticipate communication nuances, and strengthen partner relationships
- Provide strategic communications support - translate key business documents, prepare briefing materials, and ensure clear communication between our Berlin headquarters and China market activities
- Travel regularly to China - expect frequent trips (sometimes on short notice) to support business development and partnership activities
